Ilka Grew up in Germany, was Tennis Champion of her hometown at the age of 12, studied for some time in Australia and later earned a diploma in Interior Design before realizing that her true passion lies within the world of performance. She is a member of SAG and The Television Academy Of Arts And Sciences.
